Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Supply Chain Management – From Opportunities to Realizations

Building on the APMS 2025 workshop, the workshop will move from identifying AI opportunities and challenges toward developing practical solutions including data, systems integration, AI reliability, and trustworthiness.

Workshop outline

Opening remarks — 10 minutes

Introduction to the workshop, its objectives, and key findings from APMS 2025.

Keynote talks — 70 minutes

Three short keynote talks will introduce current research, practical case studies, and available solutions. The talks will provide background and practical insights to support the interactive exercise.

Break — 10 minutes

Interactive group exercise — 110 minutes

Participants will work in groups using a simplified CRISP-DM process as shown in the figure below.

Workshop output

The organizer plans to prepare a post-workshop report summarizing the use cases, discussions, findings, and recommendations. Workshop attendees will be acknowledged as contributors.
