Submissions

Authors are invited to submit papers using Springer author guidelines.  The suggested page limit for papers is 6 pages. However, papers up to 8 pages long will be accepted. Authors should provide 3 to 6 keywords related to the conference topics. The authors are strongly encouraged to consider submitting their papers to the special sessions if their paper’s technical focus  is within the scope of one of the available special sessions.

Selected papers from APMS 2019 will be invited to submit an extended version to the Special Issues of well-known international journals such as the Journal fo Production Planning and Control.

Please note that you have to create a new Conftool account for submission regardless of the past conferences.

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit papers using Springer author guidelines. Instructions for authors who use Microsoft Word and Latex are provided. More specific details on the formats of full papers are described in  “AUTHOR GUIDELINES (pdf)” provided by Springer. We highly recommend authors to strictly follow the formats because of publication issues. The file can be downloaded on this page or in the Springer website. The links are as follows:

Your contribution may be prepared in LaTeX or Microsoft Word (prefered). You can download Microsoft Word and LaTeX  templates using the links provided below.

For a camera-ready paper, you must submit the final manuscript together with the source files (including figures and tables), and the signed copyright form. Please note that the manuscript and copyright form should be uploaded in PDF format while the source files can be uploaded in Microsoft Word or LaTeX. These files must be submitted by June 30th, 2019.

The suggested page limit is 6 pages. The main reason to reduce the page limit to 6 page is that most authors want to submit their extended and improved version to special issues or other journals after conference.  Please note the instructions for the special issues which strictly requires that at least 50% of the results presented in the journal paper should be new, the text cannot be the same even for the first 50% with reused results. The same requirements applies to figures and tables.
