Submissions

Paper submissions are now open

Authors can submit their papers as regular papers or choose among the special sessions/tracks. The organizing committee suggests to see first special sessions and tracks and submit to an appropriate session or track, and only then, if there is no related session or track, to submit as regular paper.

Submission of full papers: March 21, 2021 , April 11, 2021

Authors are invited to submit papers using the author guidelines provided by Springer. The suggested page limit for papers is 6 pages. However, papers up to 10 pages long will be accepted. Authors should provide 3 to 6 keywords related to the conference topics.

The authors are strongly encouraged to consider submitting their papers to the special sessions if their paper’s technical focus  is within the scope of one of the available special sessions.  The deadline for paper submission is March 21, 2021 , April 11, 2021

The conference proceedings are published by Springer as proceedings in IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology (AICT). Volumes published as part of the IFIP AICT are made available through multiple indexing services including Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science and Scopus.

A selection of papers will be done for Production Planning & Control (PPC), International Journal of Product Lifecycle Management (IJPLM), as well as for some other well-known international journals.  The conference will coincide with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the International Journal of Production Research (IJPR). Established in 1961, IJPR is a leading journal in the areas of manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations research and management science. For this occasion, a number of specific events and sessions will be organized, a large number of authors of APMS 2021 will be invited after the conference to submit an extended version of their papers to IJPR to celebrate this anniversary. Moreover, several awards (e.g. Best papers, Best student papers, Best industrial applications …) will be programmed as a gesture to recognize authors outstanding scientific contributions and works in their respective areas. The selection will be based on the paper ingenuity, importance, and highlights some of the theoretical and practical innovations that are likely to shape the future of manufacturing and logistics.
